The non-resident process, explained
1. NIF tax ID
Non-residents get a Romanian tax identification number (NIF) — we obtain it for you (no Romanian CNP needed).
2. Power of attorney
A PoA lets us file everything without you travelling. Signed digitally or notarised/legalised at a notary/embassy.
3. Translations & apostille
Foreign documents may need sworn translation and apostille/legalisation — we coordinate it, billed at cost.
4. Registered office
Your SRL needs a Romanian registered address — included for the first year.
5. ONRC → CUI
We file at the Trade Register and follow it through to your registration certificate and unique tax ID (CUI).
6. VAT & bank account
VAT registration plus guidance to open a business bank account that accepts non-resident-owned companies.

Can a non-resident open a company in Romania?
Yes — foreign individuals and companies can own 100% of a Romanian SRL. No residency is required to own or direct it.
Do I have to travel to Romania?
No. With a power of attorney we incorporate remotely; documents are signed digitally or notarised/legalised locally.
What does it cost?
A flat €990 all-inclusive package (formation, registered office 1st year, NIF, VAT, bank assistance). State fees (~€50), translations and apostille are billed separately, at cost.
